Vann'ufalme
The Kingdom of Vann'ufalme, whose founding brought an end to the Age of Darkness, is the easternmost soverignty in Gathrea. It is bordered by the Sunrise Mountains in the northwest, the Lonely Sea in the southwest, and the Elean Sea in the east. It also controls the Gulf of Vann'ufalme--separated from the Lonely Sea by an imaginary line running through the port cities of Northgate and Southgate--and the islands within. The Prise of Vann'ufalme--and indeed the entire region of the Sisters--is the Megacrystal of Water, around which the capital city, Vann'fjell, was built. The Megacrystal allows Vann'ufalme's magi to command water-aspected magic to an extraordinary degree, giving the nation an edge in maritime affairs. The crystals mined from it are traded all over the Sisters to run futuristic irrigation systems, empowering their agriculture to sustain tens of millions of people across the three islands.
