Cosmological Views
In the beginning, the silent Astral Realm met the empty Aetherial Realm in a flash of light. From the light came Asilin, the Seed of Creation which grew into the Great Tree. From His roots sprouted three Sisters: Gathrea, the Sister of Life; Umija, the Sister of Death; and Elea, the Sister of Time. The Sisters tended the Tree, pruning its branches to blossom new worlds.
Gathrtea gave birth to a son who would go on to be called Kaos. Seeking to harness His mother's power for Himself and become the most powerful being in the universe, He killed Gathrea and set His sights on the Great Tree. In an effort to stop Him, Elea and Umija used parts of Gathrea's body to create new gods. In a final, desparate attempt to protect the Tree, Elea threw a pruned branch at Kaos. The branch became Kosmos, the equal opposite of Kaos.
Much of Gathrea's blood was splattered on the Tree, and from it came the many plants and wild beasts that make up the Mortal Realm. Kaos, having met his match in Kosmos, hurled His bloody blade into the tree, creating mankind.
As Kaos and Kosmos are locked in eternal strife, the other gods became the Wardens of the universe.
