Kröss And yet, the tide recedes from shore.

Water drips from stone,
Rock teeth grow in the cave mouth,
And the tide hits shore.

The volatile history of Kröss(IPA:/kɹʉːs/) does not lend itself well to any grand generalizations. Kröss was an always-changing world, when dominion over this planet shifts from one set of gods to the next, all aspects of Kröss--even its very nature--would follow suit. Because of this, the people who call it home have rarely led simple or consistent lives, and the gods who greedily claim whatever command over Kröss they could muster almost never fall complacent or silent. For thousands of years, it seemed that there would be no end to the wars fought by sapiens and their gods alike.

This is a new world
In more ways than one; it will
Burn the old to ash

Then, all at once, in the same way it always had, Kröss changed. Centuries ago, a new age was ushered in by the Glorious Emancipation, the Death of the Pantokrator, and most recently, the Crusade Against Undeath. Known as The Triumdeus Age (named as such for the pantheon responsible for liberating mankind) it perhaps stands out the most to modern historians for its extreme longevity. For its entire, volatile history Kröss was always-changing. Yet, it seems, our new era is not meant to end. Thousands of years of endless wars fought by sapiens--and their gods alike--means there is no other left to envy.

Burn the old world to
Fuel the Smoke of New Prydein.
Let the tide hit shore.

But Kröss is a volatile world. Kröss is ever-changing. The tide does not ever stop, it only lulls as a new wave is prepared. Some fifty-odd years ago a new land, untouched by and unknown to the gods was discovered to the far west of Augris.
