Elemental Maw
At the deepest layer of the planes lies the source of creation: a mysterious cosmic whirlpool "eating" the Kri that descends it's way; bursting out waves of energy that make up elements, nature, and the Mortal Plane's reality. Each of the major elements originate from the energy pulses that are emitted from the maw, taking the form of thread like light.
Despite being a plane of it's own, the maw is a completely unlivable place for any being. Those that do reach the maw are immediately eviscerated out of existence and become more food for the maw.
History
After an unknown and uncomprehendable amount of time during the Elemental Maw's existence, the maw's spouts of energy created the Fae Lands and eventually bridging sub-planes between the two points.
