The ethereal pathways and leylines that course throughout the body of Asgorath usher the souls of the dead into the astral cycle. This realm, invisible to the naked eyes of mortality, houses the spirits of the dead as they begin their journey through death. Once a soul reaches deep enough into their journey, they cannot return to life for the cycle deems they be reborn into another body to live a brand new life.
