Talenrûn
The war-torn continent of Talenrûn is divided between two countries with clashing views. The country of Xánrisa and the country of Heracleion. On one end, bracing the harsh desert land, scavenging the sands for a semblance of work while traveling from oasis town to oasis town, are the people of Heracleion. Many religious, the harsh environment of Heracleion has made it’s people sturdy. While at the other end, toward the east of the continent is the vast plain and mountain filled lands of Xánrisa. It’s people living in a rich and layered society, in which commerce is an ample and learned subject. Which pale in comparison only to the strength of the governing power’s martial capability. Rich in knowledge, great schools riddle the land of Xánrisa, but their war with Heracleion is one based upon religious beliefs. Beliefs that each culture holds dearly, and as such the conflict between the two has spanned generations.
