The mountainous plane of Ironsgard homes the ancient giants and their kin, the stout mountain dwarves and their great 5 kingdoms, as well as the swamplands filled with ancient dinosaurs and variant beasts that wander the remains of the old world found across the vast land. The realm is separated into 3 altitudes which act is different geopolitical regions. The Högland's vast mountains reach heights near insurmountable by smaller races, instead, many of descendants of giants as well as giants themselves call it home. The Mittland's rocky regions serve as the midlands and are largely ruled by the 5 dwarven kingdoms of Sundabar, Ùr Gauntlgrym, Ruddlehiem, Grimsfest and Arendal. These kingdoms being the most influential political force and alliance of all Ironsgard. Finally, the lowest elevation is known as the Lågland, it houses many remnants of the old continent of Chult, this influence shaped both it's geography as well as it's ecosystem directly, as great beasts of ancient times roam its lands, hunters and rangers band together under conclaves that survive the vast woods, hunting monsters and great beasts alike.

Geography

Fresh springs, mind bogglingly tall mountains and remains of the gods both greater and lesser are abundant in Plane of Stone. Largely untouched by the 5 dwarven kingdoms often who document the greater land is the western reaches of Ironsgard and the razor sharp sea of mountainous peaks within. The largest region was dubbed Klättrande berg or "The Climbing Mountains" for the Cloud, Storm and Stone giants that protectively inhabit it's lands. Further east and north, is the frost ridden mountains where the Frost Giants and Goliath tribes often butt heads with their dwarven neighbors. The tallest of the Fryst ödemark mountains could catch even a goliath breathless from the thinning oxygen, but far more dangerous is the native creatures that call it home. In the north lies the great swamp known as the Träsk of Ubtao which divides the kingdoms of Sundabar and Ùr Gauntlgrym. Though mountains riddle and overtake the larger land, the gargantuan mass of land sits at the center of a planar sea, with the southmost end containing a vast number of plains and rolling hills within its coastal land.    Temperatures are largely chilly and fresh in the great lands of Ironsgard, with the exception of the dank humid swamps of the Lågland.

Ecosystem

Home to grandiose figures, a land both blessed and cursed, as well as bombastic, larger than life creatures, threats and locations, Ironsgard is likely the realm closest resembling the northmost region of Faerûn in the old world of Abeir-Toril.
