Daethraìdh

The realm of magic and wonders, one that the elves and fey spirits alike call home. Overrun with nature and the arcane, tis' where the manipulation of the weave began. This realm is intertwined with the Heart of Asgorath as if it were a transformed reflection. As such, certain locations in the Great Core are places of intense magical energy, it is in such places that fey spirits most often manifest or that magical academies are born, that they might draw their arcane culture from the rift between the realms.

Geography

Due to the Sundering, the lands now known as Alq’alon shifted to accommodate the diversity of it’s elven peoples. Much of the south is filled with coastal land and large open plains and rolling hills where the High elven city of Syngorn and port town of Nesmé reside. Further east however is the thick foggy forests of Liath Shroud where the Xatar’norn, the capital of the Moon elves is found. To the west of Alq’alon are the craggy mountains where the fiery volcanoes are found, and the City of Sun’s Grace as well as the roving bands of druids are found. Lush greens riddle the land and beautiful colors make up all of Alq’alon. The mystical lands are fraught with magic due to its lingering connection to the feywild which came about from the Eladrin and many other fey inclined elven adjacent races. But not all elves are of a fey connection. As to the northeast of Alq’alon is the land of Blackmire, where the Shadar-kai of Kinet’shla are found. The waters at the shores of Blackmire take on a black tinge and are known as the Bás Shore. This dark tinge deeply contrasts the Gold Cloud Sea’s radiant saturation, as the waters of Alq’alon are coated in a layer of golden clouds, below which is the deep sea where the Sea elves and tritons live in the city of Attlemare. That being said, much more lies beneath the waves of the Gold Cloud Sea and the Bás Shore. As many creatures have made it their home as well.
