Nupau Islands
The Nupau Islands are an archipelago extending from the north western corner of Ti Nga and curving up to southeastern Niru. They are home to various small maritime polities with a related language and culture. They are the traditional trade bridge between Ti Nga and Niru, and as such, have been heavily influenced by Xi, Vuo, and Tisvaran cultures. They are predominantly human. The islands officially fall under the suzerainty of the Empire of Vuo Ra, but due to the empire’s deteriorated condition, the islands are effectively independent and often raid the coastal settlements of the mainland and exact tolls on passing ships.
