Giantish
Giants seem to have only survived the first age in Thovan, where they became the dominant power after the fall of Golmara. Consequently, their various dialects coalesced into a single, centralized language.

NB: ü = high, front, rounded; w = /ʊ/; oe = mid, front, rounded; ae = /æ/
Consonants:
NB: when adjacent to other consonants, nasals are denasalized and written as their voiced plosive counterpart; consonants exhibit anticipatory voicing assimilation with other consonants.

-qak = verbal suffix (> Old Tongue "-ha" completed aspect)
Phonetics
Historical Sound Changes:
- dh > ll
- No onsetless syllables. /q/ added before mid & low back vowels, /k/ before high back vowels, and /p/ before front vowels.
- a > ae before labials and coronals
- word final vowels: delete after sonorant, otherwise add coda (t for front vowels, k for back)
- Elide vowels before voiced liquids
- i > ü before labial
- e > oe before labial
