Session 25: The Odeum
General Summary
(With Stefan still missing and Rayne summoned away by Hobb for another mission)
The party finishes their preparations, getting dressed or changing their appearance and heads to find Lady Corellia. While waiting, Silas/Sunnymoon employs Vorister the Bard to sing about Hugert Hanagolin, then one about the glorious, handsome, and intelligent Lord Sunnymoon. Realizing they have missed the Lady and are too late to enter, Anya speaks with the Stone Golem Feldspar and learns about the side entrance for nobles.
Meanwhile Lord Sunnymoon reconnects Zu, who acquires a special vintage (1389) that makes the drinker highly suggestible, by agreeing to make Zu’s father “disappear”. Zu also agrees to have an ox cart ready for them should a slow, but steady escape be necessary.
Disguised, Lords Peckar and Sunnymoon use the forged tickets to enter, with Peckar peeling off to use the facilities.
Sunnymoon is shown to his seat and Peckar becomes Offa, and invisible, so he can go hunting for the entrance below the theater.
Anya and Sikander go back and forth with the golem brothers, Sikander attempting to talk their way in and finally having Anya magically speak with Lady Corellia to send someone to them. After dealing with a disgraced golem, she and Sikander enter the box, Anya at the lady’s side and Sikander behind, sitting atop the stone head.
Everyone is seated and waiting for Lord Mirt and his retinue to enter (which Offa locates in a side room that the glass nymphs are hesitant to enter due to his drunken state.) They finally enter the box, his daughter (nose bleeding slowly), wife, and two others from Yamato joining him.
Down below, Sunnymoon notices a group of lords and ladies watching Box 5, as if waiting, and spots Anya and Sikander entering their box just before Mirt and the others enter their own.
As the play starts, each of the party members in the theater quickly ends up on their own task, while Offa steadfastly continues his search below the theater. After several rooms and near misses, he finally gets Miero to tell him about a secret entrance to the catacombs.
Sikander, spotting the Yamato contingent, excuses himself from the box, does his best to intimidate the guards, make his presence known, and convinces them to pass a playing card to those inside, then heads off down the hall. He is serious, agitated, and on high alert with Cherry Blossom Society members in attendance. The guards make jokes and rude comments as he walks away toward the west side of the theater.
Anya, after conversations with the Lady and ensuring Sikander knew about the Cherries, also lets Silas know she can see the Samyra in Box 5, then heads that direction to catch up with him. Going by the same guards as Sikander, Anya tells the guards off in orcish, making a rude gesture as she goes by.
Silas manages to shake his seat companions and get to Box 5, where he finds Samyra.
She asks why he left her (I didn’t). You left. (The Gloaming took you.) Why didn’t you stop him? (I couldn’t stop him.)
Silas, you have to free me. Find the Dragon’s Tooth Step. (Where is that, what is that?)
She disappears before any more is said and Silas is enraged. Anya and Sikander arrive to the box as he is getting worked up, with Silas pulling Skybreaker and pressing it into Sikander, asking for his help. (Finding lost sisters is my specialty.).
Across the way, Keito makes eye contact with Sikander, nods and tears the card, letting the pieces fall. Seeing this, Anya steps up and warns all those in Mirts box of whom they are dealing with and shares Sikander’s full name:

Meanwhile, Offa ends up in the green room and is trying to find a secret room, but finds instead the witch from the beginning of the show. She truly is as dangerous and frighting as she appeared, not because of makeup, so he sends himself away, looking for the others.
