Selûne (seh-LOON-ay))
The Faerûnian goddess of the moon, stars, those who travel and navigate the world (whatever the reason may be), and non-evil lycanthropes. Legend holds the moon is actually the goddess watching over the world and the moonlight to be her tears of joy and sorrow.
As the moon changes, so does Selûne's mood and nature. At any point, she could present herself as:
A beautiful youthful woman, full of enthusiasm and joy, prone to action and celebration.
A matron, more likely to embrace and refrain from frivolities, expecially in times of sadness or tragedy.
An ageless and fierce woman, growing cold, aggressive and holding no mercy for her enemies.
Known to associate with many other deities, she is also responsible for the split of Tyche that led to the creation of the twin deities of luck, Tymora and Beshaba.
