Lajsia Bujrai
We have always believed in the Skyfolk - our brethren who walk upon the clouds: our heavenly counterpart. They are men and women just like us, yet they inhabit the higher realms, and they have no means to descend to our earth, just as we cannot rise and visit them. Ethereal beings who tread the clouds like solid ground, and drift through the skies as nomads, gone wherever the mighty winds decide. The rain is their generous gift to us, their acknowledgement of our brotherhood, and a vessel for the divine essence of life. When the sun shines, it is because they have moved on, but we do not despair for we know they will soon return. Just like the tribes of the earth, they are divided and at times they war amongst each other; when the clouds meet and the sky bursts with thunder, that is the sound of their battle cries and their mighty horns. If you see a web of lightning crossing the heavens, that is the light of their forges, their smiths at work to craft arms and armors. When the lands are blanketed in thick fog bound together as one cloud, this is the unity and peace of the Skyfolk, and the time at which our two worlds come closest to meeting. These are the ways of the Lajsia Bujrai, and it is to the divinity of the Skyfolk that we devote our practice today.
