Katu
The Katu is a primate species found exclusively in the canopy of Kastatsz Tuszimos, which it is named after. It lives its entire life in the highest branches of the world-tree, nearly 15km above the ground. They are extremely well-adapted to the high elevation of their habitat, and are expert climbers to ensure that they never fall, because if they did it would certainly mean death. The Katu is a proud symbol of many of the indigenous peoples who also live among the canopy of the world-tree, and is represented often in their art, architecture, currency, and other essential tools of civilization.
