This gaudy brass ring allows its wearer to use an action
to deliver a startling—but non-damaging—shock to a
target creature. If the target fails a DC 10 Constitution
saving throw, the creature yelps loudly. There is also a
10% chance that a creature startled by hornet ring by
failing the saving throw drops anything they are holding.
