Tirglas Kingdom
This kingdom is located on the western side of the continent. Its southern land boundary is shared entirely between the Udynea Empire, with the rest of its border separating the land from Obuzan via a cliff-lined strait. Similarly, the western boundary follows a line of mountains that divide it from Cezhory. The western shoreline bears a few small islands not fit for habitation, whereas the northern seas are prone to icing over in the winter.
Tirglas’ terrain is a mixture of mountains both in the north and south, rolling grassland in the middle and hills everywhere between. Whilst the land has no large lakes and only a few sizable rivers, the northern harbour that gives the kingdom a fish-hook like appearance is home to many of the land’s fishing villages, as does the southern inlet the strait funnel’s into. There are also many marshy areas along its western shoreline, leading to a thriving flax-growing economy.
Because of its close proximity to the frozen lands of the north and the unimpeded chilling winds across the Endless Sea in the west, Tirglas experiences the harshest weather on the continent. Seasons are wildly distinct from each other, with some parts completely snowed in during winter. Summer squalls are common and the land never fully dries out.
Assets
An abundance of land suitable for flax growing. Mountainous terrain filled with iron and coal deposits. Large tracks of farmland with cattle and sheep byproducts.
Agriculture & Industry
The kingdom is largely known for its production of wool, but there is also a lot to be said for its meat. The grasslands are hosts to large herds of cattle, whilst those higher in the hills lean more towards sheep and pigs. All of them are predominantly the biggest on the continent.
