Tea

Whilst originally a staple drink of Ancient Domian, the habit of tea drinking was quickly taken up by the invading Udynean force back in the second era. This lead to vast estates dedicating their lands to the growth of such shrubs.

Over the centuries, most Tea Estates have turned to cultivating their own unique plants, blends and processing techniques. These various types have become a heavily exported produce amongst the other empires, where it’s seen as exotic.

Within Udynea, tea drinking is done without ceremony, although certain herbal varieties can be prescribed by apothecaries. The common serving style is placing the desired blend within a pot of tepid water and heating both before pouring the strained tea into a clay or porcelain cup. In southern households, milk and spices may also be added.
