Static Pods
A Stamekian invention that arose as an attempt to duplicate the much older preservation domes of the Domian Empire, static pods lack the ability to preserve its contents, but act as a near-complete barrier to keep out any living thing who hasn’t been given permission to pass through. Even if a person who is allowed tries to carry someone who hasn’t the same privilege, the second person will find that trying to cross this barrier is akin to running into a stone wall.
The consent can be set up several ways, but the most common is via placing a simple hair on a dish placed on one side of the barrier that the person initially creating the pod deems as the exclusion zone.
Utility
In Stamekia, they are mainly used by the nomads in enacting the death penalty, where the dish is on the exterior of the barrier and the imprisoned person is left to perish.
