Smoked Pork Fat

Pigs are a common sight in the Cezhory countryside. Because of this, variations of pork can be found in a lot of the people’s meat-based dishes. However, the locals consider this particular one as more of a snack with the signature mark of there being little to no actual meat.

It is said that this dish came about when the Ancient Domian Empire pushed their invasion of the north to hunt down the last of the dwarven hedgewitches, taking much of the local’s domesticated animals and leaving them with only the wild pigs.

As the name suggests, this snack is slabs of creamy white pork fat, be it from the animal’s back or belly, that has been cured via smoking. As with many dishes, there isn’t a single right way to consume this snack, but traditionally, it is eaten on its own or atop a slice of bread.
