Sleep Touch
This particular mental ability is one of the more acceptable to claim knowledge of, especially amongst those following a healing vocation, although it must be said that its usage comes with a rather grisly past where kidnapping was one of the more savoury results for victims.
The ability shares qualities with the healing side of magic, such as requiring the spellster to touch their target. But where the former needs only a simple physical connection, the touch to induce sleep requires direct contact with the centre of the patient’s forehead.
Those who have been under the influence of this ability record feeling a sensation akin to that of a ringing bell passing through their skull. These pulses force an unconscious state that is completely absent of dreams and last for a handful of hours.
