Sebzahaa

Seb is the Udynean word for both apple and its juice. Sebzah is its fermented variant, known in other lands as cider. It’s typically a cloudy, pale yellow reminiscent of old hay with a sweet aroma and sharply refreshing taste.

However, any drink with with suffix zahaa indicates to the consumer that their drink has been recreationally poisoned and this fact is no less true with Sebzahaa.

The poison used depends on what is considered fashionable at the time as performing such stunts is seen as little more than a game amongst the Udynean nobility. This particular sport is designed to display one’s healing prowess.

By using the suffix, people can politely decline participating and it is considered unseemly to offer such a drink to someone without informing them. A courtesy not extended to political rivals.
