Potato Dumplings
This dish can be found in many homes all across Demarn, largely because of its simplicity and the ease in which it can be adapted.
Manufacturing process
The ingredients for the dumplings requires but three things: flour, potato and eggs and, even with most of the grain being funnelled to the army or the spellster tower, flour is still an easy commodity to come by.
The dumplings are boiled and coated in a sauce/paste, of which there are as many versions as there are homes. The most common sees the dumplings being served coated in a basil paste. Fancier variants may have additions of cheese, meat, fungi and, if the household has access to milk, a creamed sauce.
