Nulshar Red Wine

Grapes are one of Udynea’s major crops and Nulshar is well-known as having one of the better vineyards for winemaking.

The famous Nulshar Red is a dry wine known for being rich and dark with notes of fig or molasses. The taste is due, not only to the grape variety used, but the process of letting the grapes dry out in specially-ventilated rooms for around three months before being pressed. This method allows for a concentration of both flavour and alcohol.

Once pressed, it is fermented at a low temperature for close to two months, then sealed in oak barrels for a minimum of a decade, if not two.

It is a known favourite of the current vris Mhanek, Darshan, who is rumoured to have entire vintages stored in his personal cellar.
