Madaara
Madaara is the Goddess of Wine and part of the original Udynean pantheon. Her priesthood is responsible for much of the wine within Udynea’s borders.
Those who tend her temple, and the surrounding vine fields, throw a festival after every harvest in her honour for their current bounty and to convince her to bless the next grape harvest. These festivals typically start off as sober affairs in the morning as grapes and juice are consumed, and divert into drunken revelry in the evening when wine from previous harvests is offered to the goddess.
With the addition of spellsters, these festivities often culminate in an orgy necessitating the rebuilding of her statue and/or altar, such as the one Darshan vris Mhanek attended in Minamist during the 1896 harvest where his imperial highness was personally responsible for shattering a marble statue upon which he had fornicated.
