Ice

The creation of ice requires little more than the means to draw upon some type of moisture and the ability to draw the heat from said liquid. When done by a spellster with skill, the desired result can be accomplished so quickly that the ice looks as though it appears from the very air.

When it comes to defensive uses, walls are often chosen to close off points in an attack, with an adept spellster able to make the surface cold enough to burn bare skin.

In terms of using it offensively, shards that can be flung at an opponent are the most common. Hand-held weapons, whilst possible, are rarely used given that few spellsters are willing to engage in close combat and the intense coldness radiating from the objects.
