Grilled Fish
Although Stamekia is widely known for the expanse of inhospitable desert that makes up much of the northern part of the empire, the southern end has a shoreline that holds an abundance of sea life and the fish caught there is often the only meat most common folk eat.
Grilled fish in particular is found in abundance throughout the coastal cities, with many stalls priding themselves on cooking one recipe to perfection and jealously guarding their methods. As such, the variations on this dish are as many as there are cooks.
With the Stamekian Empire’s view on magic being a favouring one, most of the stall grills are heated by the cook’s power, lending an extra layer of unique flavour to each meal as well as any spices/oils used.
