Game Stew
Given how diverse and widespread each of the elven caravans are, it is difficult to pin down their cuisine. However, given the elven requirement for a high-meat diet, this stew is a high contender.
Whilst there is no firm recipe, most follow a certain trend of simple ingredients: hunted meat, typically smaller game, herbs, fungus and vegetables, the latter two either gained through foraging or trading with villages.
Manufacturing process
The meat is thrown into a greased pot whole with onions and herbs, and browned over a campfire. Water is then poured in to form a rough broth. The meat is further cooked until almost ready to fall apart, then it is removed to be deboned whilst vegetables are added to the liquid and boiled until done. The meat is then added back long enough to be heated before serving.
