Fireballs

When non-magical folk think of spellsters attacking, fireballs are typically the first thing that comes to mind.

This is not without cause, as balls of fire are the easiest to form, take the least amount of focus to control and can be destructive in their own right. They do indeed serve a purpose in attacks where chaos is the desired goal, but this ability is also the easiest to deal with once the initial panic has abated.

The most effective use for this talent is a spellster having the fireballs orbit around them as an additional layer of offensive defence alongside their barrier.

However, it must be noted that even this type of stance, whilst common amongst guards defending chokepoints, is useless against Nulled Ones. Just as hurling a fireball at the magically immune will also do no damage.
