Elven Caravan Cattle

Marked by their curly reddish-brown coat, these cattle have always been draft animals, originally in the mountainous areas of Cezhory, but now their presence has become synonymous with the elven nomads who use the breed to pull their caravans.

These cattle have strong legs and hardy hooves, meaning they’re able to traverse terrain most draft beasts struggle with and can do so for longer. Additionally, they’re excellent grazers in harsh environments and can withstand extreme variations in temperature, as well as reproduce remarkably easily with shorter than usual gestation periods.

In Cezhory, they’re also considered a good dairy and meat cow, but whilst the elves may require more meat than the average human or dwarf, they don’t eat their cattle.
