Language

  “Bullman speak” is not its official name but is referred to as such. The language or “speak” is a combination of gestures and huffing, puffing, growling.  

Cultural heritage

  The Bullmen once dwelled on the earth as nomadic humans. One day, both the sun and the moon came down from space and asked the nomads for a favor. The underworld's soles needed a protector. The underworld has been attacked many times, and many wild spirits have been released onto the earth. The nomads agreed, for the sun and the moon had come together in peace and harmony. Moon blessed them with a protective power. Only when scared, nervous, and threatened they gain ten times their strength and gain thicker skin, they become monitors.   The nomadic people had always been inherently violent or a kratocracy. They choose who would lead them to the underworld by fighting each other and with this new gained power the fights were much more violent and required rules. It has been recorded the first fight of the bullmen, the loser's horns had been broken off and that is how every fight ends.   Throughout the years, the bullmen has lost its true meaning. Instead they compete with each other constantly for power but are not a force to be reckoned with.  

Shared customary codes and values

  “If you can’t beat them join them” They respect their most powerful members.   Respecting elders, even if elders are no longer able to fight for their political power, they are still a part of councils as a second opinion.   Do not defend the weak. The weak must die out or become stronger,   Do not fight the weak or lesser rank until they fight first

Always must line up, in who is the most powerful

Eat after the tribal leader has taken his first bite

No weapons at the dinner table

Hitting your chest in a specific beat, when another bullmen starts beating on his chest.

Do not challenge an elder unless you're an elder yourself. Elderly ages range from Sixty to over hundred.

Common dress code

Since they are constantly attacking and berating each other; they are always seen with armor. Weapons are always carried if not eating.   Formal armor All formal armor is different and represents a bullman journey. For example belle from the king’s bulls wears crowns incrusted into her armor   Every day armor Includes only chest plate, knee pads and shoulder pads. Occasionally helmets   Sleep wear A tunic

Coming of age

Once children become the age of thirteen they are sent to Brawl Circle where they have a couple weeks to train their survival weapon skills. Even though children below the age of thirteen are not allowed to rank themselves based off strength they do so other ways and most adults turn a blind eye.   Elders are owed respect, even from the Lord/lady of the republic no matter how strong they are. Only one elder is allowed a seat in the bullmen court.  

Funerary and memorial customs

if a Bullmen dies naturally, They are first placed inside of an open casket made from a vampire coffin maker and dressed in their formal armor and holding their weapons. The coffin is engraved with the former bullman’s legacy; from his childhood to his accomplishments in adulthood. The coffins are then filled with their favorite items. Finally they are burned in hellfire while either the lord/lady or close relative gives an obituary. Some believe they know to protect the underworld in spirit.     If a Bullmen dies in battle, their bodies are cemented where they died and are given their favorite items every year on their death date. Depending on their importance or rank, their death day is then created a holiday and every one must gift an item.   When a Bullmen dies during a tournament it is based on their rank and what rank they fought.   For example a weakling righting a lord for his/her lordship, that bullmen does not get a funeral their armor is melted along with their weapons, and is buried in the ground unmarked, at extreme times or based on the lord’s feelings the family is not allowed to know where they have been buried. They family may even be exiled.   If the tournament was weakling vs any rank below lord they are placed in an unengraved casket, their armor is melted along with their weapons and not allowed to have a funeral procession embarrassing their family.   Leader vs Leader they are both allowed engraved caskets and be buried with their weapons and armor. Given a normal procession.

Both women and men should be at least 5 '9 or taller, have a very muscular build, long and thick hair in a variety of colors. No less than on piercing
