When people think of the Great Temple, usually the main building where people come to pray and make offerings comes to mind, but there's much more to it than that. The temple areal also includes a hospital, a poorhouse, a school, a library and an orphanage as well as quarters where the priests and priestesses who work there live. Thus, the temple is not only a religious centre, but a community centre as well.

The Great Temple has great cultural relevance to all of Keider. Not only is it the most important religious site, it is also a social and educational institution.

The Temple's library holds the kingdom's most extensive collection of literature and knowledge.
