Tashakistani Republic Railways DX Class DX.022 was constructed in 1941 by the Vulcan Foundry in Newton-Le-Willows, Merseyside in England for use by the War Department in the UK.
Originally the DX.022 was one of several locomotives bound for France during the Second World War, but after France's fall the locomotives were then offered to the then nuteral Tashakistan aster Germany had offered them thirty DRG Class 44 locomotives. DX.022 was the final of the twenty two locomotives that saw use by the TMR/TRR with it being used on Haima - Al-Sharah coal trains with it being keps with class mates DX.003, DX.016 & DX.017 at Haima Locomotive Depot. She was withdrawn in 1976 but instead of being scrapped, she was restored, repainted and given a plaque on both sides of the cab below the number in both Arabic and English and was donated to the National Railway Museum in Etorea as a goodwill gesture due to economic aid that Tashakistan received due to a drought the previous year.

The Plaque Reads:

(EN) - "On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tashakistan, we present this locomotive to the National Railway Museum of Etorea as a gift and goodwill gesture in thanks of economic aid due to out drought between 1974 and 1975."
