3 sold to a tramway and ran as a close coupled set with a modified single-veranda brake van. 26 scrapped by 1919, remaining 256 rebuilt by the ENR as workmens stock (interiors stripped; 3/4 width compartments added, seats equivalent to 3rd class added, doors on each side now lead to corridors to access compartments).
