In 2018, Cross was arrested following a shooting in Little Russia. The police raided his house and seized a CA.S.A. 1-17 that had been converted to an SBR (Short Barrelled Rifle) with a 3D printed collapsable stock. The weapon was sold by the police but it ended back in the hands of MM gang members as no background checks were made during the evidence guns auction.
