RD&HB № 50
Redwick Docks & Harbour Board № 50 (formerly British Rail Class 03 № 03 017) is a preserved diesel shunter in Etorea. She was built in 1957 by Doncaster Works of British Railways, initially at Ipswich Docks. She was sold to the RD&HB in 1986 where she was used as a shunter at Oxmere. During this time, she was repainted red and was given the RD&HB's blue ship logo on the side of her cab. She retained her wasp stripes and black cab roof, however, as it was part of the standard livery for RD&HB diesel locomotives.
№ 50 stayed at Oxmere for her entire working life under the Redwick Docks & Harbour Board until she was officially withdrawn in 2009. From there she was sold to the Keldley Wharf Museum where she runs demonstration goods trains. In 2012, № 50 was loaned to the ENR to help construct a new carriage shed at Chapelswood Station before then being loaned to the Ayles Valley Railway for their 2013 spring gala.
