The first two locomotives owned and operated by the railway were two 2-2-2 "Patentee" locomotives. They were delivered in Royal Blue lined with white banding / lining and black frames. № 3, a Sharp, Roberts 2-2-2 was painted Chocoalte Brown (frames included) with Gold banding / lining. Black, Hawthorn 2-4-0s №s 4 - 6 were painted fully black with wellow lining. Sharp, Roberts 2-4-0 № 7 was painted Wedgewood Blue with Silver lining and black frames / wheels. № 8 was painted Brunswick Green with black frames and wheels. №s 9 & 10 were painted Yellow with Black frames, wheels and lining.
