Littleton Navigation Colliery №1 "Lady Erin"

Littleton Navigation Colliery №1 "Lady Erin" is a preserved 0-6-0 tank engine built in 1862. She is the oldest operational locomotive in Etorea as of 2025.   Lady Erin was built in 1862 as Great Eastern Railway №14 "Cheapside", she looked similar to her current form but had a weatherboard in place of a cab and a saddle tank instead of side tanks. She was one of three 0-6-0 saddle tanks designed by William Holland for shunting at () in Redwick. Although intended for shunting, №14 was often seen running the Cheapside - Crossfields Branch after the 2-2-0ST that was previously used on that line was withdrawn from service after the trains became too heavy, №14 would remain on this service until she was replaced by a 2-4-0T in 1886. From here she would be reallocated to trains along the () branch until her ultimate withdrawal from GER stock in 1896. Before her withdrawal, "Cheapside" was rebuilt twice by the GER. The first was in 1873, it gave her side tanks and a full (yet open sided) cab in place of her weather board and saddle tank. The second was in 1889, this gave her a fully enclosed cab and replaced her old buffers with newer ones.   In 1897 she was sold to the Littleton Navigation Colliery which had recently opened a railway line of their own to the docks in the north of the town.
