Unknown 0-6-0ST "Lt. H. Turpin" 3 Ex - contractors locomotive, used on line's construction.
Wagons used by the company were of the "chaldron" variety, this was due to the lightly constructed wharf at Leamouth. Goods vans were rarely used as the line was primaraly a limestone carrier but the ones that were used had modified headstocks so chaldrons wouldn't lurch foreward underneath the wagon, mitigating any potential damage. These modifications were also shared with the company's brake vans. In the 1890s newer goods wagons were purchased after the opening of Kirk Aulbyn Quarry. Coaches were purchased 2nd hand from the South Western Railway, atleast one of which came from the short lived Monkton & Newton Haven Railway. The coaches were built between 1857 and 1861 but were given better interiors and air brakes upon their purchase.
The locomotive livery used by the L&PR was Prussian Blue lined in Vermillion, chimneys had copper caps with some fittings also being copper plated. Goods stock was grey with black metalwork and frames, Coaches were painted Crimson Lake with Grey rooves.
