Horton China Clay Co. №2
Horton China Clay Co. №2 is a preserved 0-4-0VB steam locomotive in Etorea. She is one of only three preserved vertical-boiler tank engines preserved in Etorea and the only one built in the country she is preserved in.
She was built in 1869 by Henry Dyer & Co. of (), ()shire as their works № 74 for the Horton China Clay Company of ()shire. Uniquely, №2 has grasshopper motion similar to that of the Wylam Colliery Locomotives "Puffing Billy" and "Wylam Dilly", both of which are also preserved. As built, she had "L" shaped dumb-buffers for use with both modern wagons and the side-tipping spoil wagons used at the clay pits; the would later loose these original buffers on one end and in their place would be a pair of sprung buffers aswell as a lower pair of square-shaped dumb-buffers.
