GN&SR 264 Class
The Great Northern & Southern Railway 264 Class was a fifty - nine 0-6-0 tender engines designed built between 1869 and 1881 by Beyer, Peacock & Company. They were based on a standard design that had been modified for use by the Northern Division by the then Chief Mechanical Engineer George Wickham.
