ENR Woolwich Class

The Etorean National Railway Woolwich Class was a class of twenty-seven 2-6-0 mixed traffic tender locomotives built between 1920 and 1922. They were purchased as war surplus from the Ministry of Supply in England after the First World War.

The components of the class were built at the Royal Woolwich Arsenal in London, England as "kit" forms of the South Eastern & Chatham Railway "N" Class 2-6-0s, the site where the parts were made would end up providing the class name to the locomotives upon their arrival to the ENR. As built, they had standard SE&CR tenders; though on the ENR two different tenders were used with them, those that came with the kits and those from ex - GCR 8K 2-8-0s that were purchased for spares for the GC Class. The latter of the two was often seen on ex - NER and ECR routes.
