Letter from Gen Matthew McConnor
It is over. I fear there is no longer hope for holding on to the Jewel of the Empire. The south is completely controlled by the rebels, aided by the Americans and Germans. The Royal Regiments here in India have either declared for their home states, or have called for the expulsion of the white British in the name of a new Confederacy. India is lost, my lord. We must prepare for a full evacuation immediately.
