Exert from Ernest Woolery to Parliament
As of now, the streets are dire with hunger and disease. An unknown flu has spread through the streets of London, and now engulfs much of the population. Should the people have been fed properly, I would believe many of the dead would still be with us. However, the German and American blockade persists, and the war of our Honorable Prime Minister wages on. We must accept the conditions we find ourselves in. The stubbornness and resilience of the British populace has wavered, and we may soon lose control on the home front as well as the battlefield.
