I have taken it upon myself to take the throne away from my brother, Emperor Yeong. The Korean people have come under the yoke of the Japanese for far too long. We shall take our fates into our own hands, a free Korea for the free Koreans. The will of the people shall prevail, and Japan will no longer hold the subjects of our great empire as ransom for their own gains. We shall join with our Russian allies, and push Japan out of the Korean nation.
