They say it was a valiant defeat, that the Kasierliche Marine served with distinction, but it was ultimately futile. How does that bring Karl back to me? How is that supposed to consul the women that are left behind? The Kaiser has sent a generic letter to me, notifying of Karl's disappearance. Whereabouts unknown, they say. Unrecoverable. I am only reminded that he is either in the hands of the forsaken British, or othersie at the bottom of the sea. Which would ease the remembrance more?
I am curious if we will learn more about it, it sounds very sad.
