Extended Requirement Meal
An Extended Requirement(s) Meal (ERM), also referred to as an Extended Meal, Ready to Eat (E-MRE), is a self contained individual ration invented by the United Nations Department of Kindled Operations to serve as travel and combat rations for Kindled, specifically those that require additional calories in order to execute their abilities.
It replaced the canned Augmented Individual Meal (AIM) in 1974, following the end of the First Kindled War, and is split into several categories based on the specific caloric needs of the ability, as well as it's magnitude. Suffixes are typically appended based on the broad category of abilities it can typically feed, with a number rating for magnitude if necessary. The suffixes are as follows:

History
In 1946, following significant complaints and rampant malnutrition among Kindled with the existing Field Ration system, the United Nations Kindled Observation and Research Effort developed the Augmented Individual Meal, which was typically just a larger Field Ration with more calorie dense meals. The solution sufficed, however, with malnutrition cases largely vanishing. However, with the advent of the First Kindled War, a different issue sprouted. While caloric requirements were being filled, specific nutrition requirements for optimal ability use were not, resulting in a significant amount of failed missions on both sides.
Thus, the newly rechristened Department of Kindled Operations worked with several Kindled Innovators to come up with the Extended Requirement Meal, as well as improve the logistical arm that was delivering them to Kindled. The first shipment was made in 1974, with 3 classifications at the time. Traveler, Vanguard, and Warden. Strategist ERMs were added in 1991, while Infiltrator ERMs are a recent innovation by the Kindled Operations Force, created in 2010 and introduced in 2011.

Ohh, this is very cool! The nature of an infiltrator makes me wonder if their ERM might've existed earlier, but knowledge of it was only made public in 2011.

Well yes and no. Infiltrator Kindled were discovered to be a thing in 2001 (read, 9/11), and for obvious reasons nobody said anything, but part of it is also just, research and logistics. Infiltrators are a bit special in that they are a combination of Stealth/Invisibility Powers, and also Transformation powers (Impersonators), which unlike Wardens for example, (More Calcium and similar minerals in their diet to promote bone health and general tankness), don't have an obvious adjustment, at least not at first. Their ERM was ready in 2010, implemented in the latter half of that year, but only really published in 2011, well after things had settled and the Kindled Operations Force was on their feet and in force.
