Crime Syndicat

  A Crime Syndicate is a group of crooks that generally do things that are against the law and forward their goals. A lot of rogues can be found, but other classes like bards, fightes, Sorcerers, and Wizards would also fit. Missions from this Group could range anywhere from stealing gold to assassinating an important figure. If you are in a Crime Syndicate benefits might include contacts, discounts, payment, and immunity. You need to be able to sneak around, get things done, and steal to be in a Crime Syndicate.

Dragonmarked House

  There are 12 Dragonmarked Houses, one for each of the Dragonmarks. If you work for a Dragonmark house then your missions will be to forward that House's goals. All sorts of people can be in a Dragonmark House, but most of them have Dragonmarks that go along with their house. Benefits of being in a Dragonmark House could be contacts and discounts that relate to the house. You could also get payment, power, and protection.

Espionage Agency

  SPIES. An Espionage Agency is just a spy agency. Most of them in Khorvaire are run by the government or one of the Dragonmarked Houses. Almost any class could be a spy, but you will need to be able to sneak around and observe things. You can gain many different benefits depending on the person running the business, some of which include money, protection, contacts, discounts, and blackmarket goods.

Head of State

  If you work for a Head of State you would have to be a really loyal person. You would be working for someone unconditionally with the chance of not getting anything out of it. You would be one of the closest to that person and would be expected to help them attain their goals at any cost. If you worked for a Head of State you would likely be lawful or neutral and believe you are doing what is best. A few of the things that would be offered are law-stepping and a small amount of money to be used for expenses.

Immortal Being

  Immortal beings are normally what warlocks would have as a patron, but you could still be a different class and have this patron. Immortal beings tend to be really powerful and contain a lot of knowledge which is good if you are playing a power hungry character. An immortal being can offer you power, information, magic, and powerful items for working with them or they might just own your soul.

Inquisitive Agency

  Inquisitive agencies work as fantasy detectives. They find people and solve cases. By being part of an agency you could get contacts, work, and money as benefits. Most people who are a part of an inquisitive agency will have to be good at picking up clues, remembering things, and connecting the dots.

Military Force

  This would be the most common for our campaign prompt, but also remember to be original, so if you choose this add some flavour to your employment like, you were forced to join by your parents. A military force could also mean that you are a mercenary or a battlefield medic. If you are part of a military force then you will have to have the ability to kill someone. Being part of a military force could get you benefits such as discounts, armour, and fame.

Newspaper

  To be part of a newspaper this means that you would be traveling along with this group to get the inner stories. There are all sorts of reporters that you could be. You could tell the stories of your group as they are, you could exaggerate and make your stories even more epic, or you could be making the group that you are a part of into the bad guys of your story. If you are a reporter your character will have to be observant and like telling stories. Benefits you can get from being part of a newspaper is equipment, payment, and press access.

Religious Order

  When working for a religious order you will have to choose which one, (out of the faiths section). Being part of a religious order can lead you to trying to get ancient artifacts for them or fighting off their enemies. Therefore you could be a range of different classes. Some benefits you could get from a religious order is magic from your church, housing, and holy things.
