Narshal Knights
The Narshal Knights are the high servants of the king and make up most of his advisers. They are descendants of the brothers Garnshial and Handrial, who built the city of Ingenal, which later became the home of the Narshal Knights. Each son of the Kights went seven years to serve the King of some other of the Lords of Deen-Narsha. Once this was done, he came back to Ingenal to learn the skill of the Knights. This stage may take very many years or just a few, but it was never completed until the student is very proficient in the arts of war and signal combat. After he finishes this long step, he has to perform a series of test even harder than the test of the prince when he is becoming king. Each test must be completed within a set period of time. Overall, there are 81 test which must be completed. This takes in most cases between 5 and 10 years. After all these things were completed, he is given the honor of the Medel of the Knights of the King, or the Honor of the Black Armor. Once this is accomplished, he is allowed to wear the black armor, which is a privilege given only to the warriors of the Narshal Knights. At this point the men have grown older and have gained much experience. The youngest knight to wear black armor was 38, and the average age to begin wearing it is 45 years old. The Order is used by the King and his Lords to secure the forts among the people and along the coast, they are used as leaders in the army when war is at hand, and they are used as advisers of the King and his Lords.
Structure
When a knight comes into the Order he is a Lower Knight, which means he is in charge of the regular troups at some fort or other around the isle. If he proves himself worthy he may be moved to the office of Higher Knight, which means he is in charge of a whole fort. In some cases he may prove himself very wise and couragous and may be moved to the office of Adviser to the King or one of the Lords or a General of the Army.
