God of Chaos, Madness, and Forbidden Knowledge

That is obscure, little wonder you weren’t able to make sense of it.” She laces her fingertips together and stares down into her hands, the crystalline skin becoming almost completely transparent for a moment. “Tizeraeus stole the darkest secrets, the truths and knowledge mortals were never meant to have. They transformed him not just to a god, but the god of chaos and madness. They still exist, preserved in a bubble that somehow survives the constant chaos and dissolution that is the plane of Limbo, where Tizeraeus dwells.” -- Nazike, the Crystal of KnowledgeTizaeraeus is a little known, little worshiped deity, who inadvertently ascended to godhood when he stole some of the deepest, darkest secrets in existence, from Ioun's Archive. It is not entirely understood what the secrets are, or indeed, why they caused Tizareus' apotheosis; however, one scholar has quoted Bahamut as telling their fellow deities the following on the subject: "Given the nature of the knowledge he has taken, it is highly unlikely he will regain his right mind again. But should it happen, making him one of us will make it far less likely he will use what he took, or allow it to be used." His worshipers are themselves, almost to a one, quite insane. It is unknown whether Tizeraeus cares, or even knows, that they exist.
