Nazike, the Crystal of Knowledge
Nazike, the Crystal of Knowledge, is an archfey and the head of the Court of Kalawesi-Nerridera.
Her greatest power is to be able to answer almost any factual question that is put to her. She uses this power most often to reward those who have done her service. She will occasionally offer a token -- a fragment of crystal drawn from her own body -- to allow someone to save their question, and put it to her at a time that best suits them. She can also gift the ability to bypass the warping of time that occurs when a resident of the Material Plane returns from the Feywild. This is also accomplished by a fragment of crystal drawn from her own body. She offers neither of these tokens lightly, for the crystals that make up most of her form grow extremely slowly, if at all.
Her position of power, and the almost bottomless depths of knowledge that she can draw upon, have often combined with her fey nature to make her seem detached at best, haughty and arrogant at worst. The recent experience of nearly losing her Court and her city to the rogue blood hunter Meiron and his demon-worshipping ally Arteagagarey has prompted her to reassess. She has made an effort to be more engaged and more personally accessible in the governing of her city. Whether this will last, and whether it will lead others to see her differently, is yet to be seen.
Her true name, recently revealed to a select few, is Kesshounochishiki.
